Intruder and all that jazz.
Coupon pranced into the cavern in which her alliance had taken refuge. Rather large in size, then den as well as herself, any pack or some random canine would probably love to steal it away, but that would be terribly wrong. Since Paquete Ahura had lain claims on this residence, it was to be protected. And what do you know, it seemed that an intruder had entered the sanctuary, leaving this monstrosity little choice in the matter but to rid the area of this specimen accordingly. Stalking closer to the slab of stone in the back of the denning place, an echoed hiss would bounce off the cavern walls, alerting this new comer to her presence. Stepping closer, a warning would also be let loose. "Leave, or be forced out." Those were the two options, so she would have to choose one.
Violet Doom's pure hued tassel flicked in annoyance as the echoing steps caressed her snow tinted harks, as the fae's voice intruded her mind she pined her harks against her high held crania. Long ivories glistened as they slide from her jowls. A loud ominous growl emitted from her vocals, as her silky pelt rose from her back. Why should she leave? She liked this place and did not take orders from anyone, not with out a fight. Her golden gaze narrowed as her short temper rose. Other than her treating pose she made no movements to acknowledge the fae.
You say, "Another hissed vocal would escape, though if irritation could be heard, that is what it would sound like. Hackles rose, but in this case the vertebrae which shot up even when slightly angered. "If that is what you want." Body charged farther forward, meaning to jump upon the stone, perhaps even blocking the damsel in. Frame was large enough though, that a simple step up would allow access to this area. Without any hesitation, the serpentine creature assaulted this unknown other. Jowls parted, wanting to tear at her flesh, the nape a preferred spot, though anything would do. Through this though, neck had been arched, skull lowered slightly as to give some protection to the throat.
Violet Doom's emotionless expression would shift into a demonic smirk as the fae leapt up beside her. In a swift motion her amethyst pillars would spring her large frame of the ebon bolder. Her sharp talons would click upon the there darkly hued turf a distance away. Her crania would drop slightly as a snarl would emit from her jowls. With a swish of her lengthy tassel she would try to dash behind the fae. She would leap into the air, jowls and talons lashing at fae's spine in hopes of latching onto her frame.
Coupon followed the damsel and all her swift movements. It was not hard, with this ones neck being so long. Now, Coupon was so much bigger and so much heavier than this tiny thing, if she bit into her back it would cause damage, yes, but nothing fatal. That is what the scales were there for, to give a minor more amount of protection then what regular skin would serve. So, letting this maiden run and sneak behind her bum, this serpin would patiently wait until the opponent was in the air, constantly looking behind to make sure when. Once airborne, the attack would be fairly simple. Wolves could not move well in the moment of flight, meaning they were venerable to attack among other things. Also taking in to account her hight advantage; being on the boulder and how much taller she was then the normal wolf, the opposer could not jump nearly as high as she would have liked to. So, we get back to why Coup waited for her to jump. Her tail was like a whip; very muscular and powerful. Keeping in mind this fact, Coup swung at the time which was right, more likely then not, hitting the other and throwing her to the earth or maybe even the den wall. Now, this attack could not be avoided easily, but if by some miracle she latched onto the spine or back area, the titan of a beast would hop of the rock and go the the boundaries of the den, using this to crush her until she let go. If the attack did work though, the opponent would be dazed from both the hit and the fall, so Coupon would take this time to latch on and inject that wonderful venom, paralyzing her for around two minutes and then then would throw her closer to the exit in this time period.
Violet Doom's demonic orbs would catch the ebon whipcord in there gaze. She would quickly change her target, it may not me easy for a wolf to maneuver mid-flight but small motions were possible. If the fae's scaly tassel tried to strike her, she would wait for the impact and once the force had been transferred to her frame she would latch onto the fae with her powerful jowls. Her sharp ivories would be aided by the pain that would be sent coursing thought her, increasing the power of her bite. The damage done to both of them would depend on the force behind there strikes.
You say, "Indeed, the others strike was a powerful one. How she latched onto a moving object and could still stand to even bite was a serious question, but one that could not be ansewered it seemed. Coupon's tail was powerful, yes, but could not sustain ninety ounds without lingering to the soil. But, this was fine. The muscle surrounding the flesh was touch and thick, nothing fatal in the least from a simple bite to this area. Now, though large, Coupon was a leab creature for her size and could move just as easily as if a wolf was the same weight or hight. Plus, with the opponent stuck to her banner and probably still a bit dazed from the impact, it gave the damsel an opening. The intruder was on the ground, more than likely not standing, so off Coup went, jaws agape and to her throat. The other, as said, was on the ground and dazed, whatever. So, it would take time to recover. Time she did not have. In seconds Coup was on her. She was so close, how could she avoid?"
And then I had to go.
